Shea Goss Charged with Intoxication Manslaughter in Fatality Accident

A fatal car crash occurred on Tuesday, February 19th, 2013 at about three o’clock in the afternoon when a Dodge Durango veered off the roadway.

According to the Austin Police Department, the 2004 truck traveling eastbound in the 12500 block of Riata Vista Circle veered to the right and left the roadway continuing eastbound into a cluster of trees.

There were three passengers in the car who were all transported to Dell Children’s Hospital, two with life-threatening injuries and one with minor injuries.  The driver, Shea Goss, was sent to Saint David’s Round Rock Medical Center with non-life-threatening injuries.  One passenger, a 4-year-old female, was later pronounced deceased at Dell Children’s Hospital.

Goss has been charged with Intoxication Manslaughter and two counts of Intoxication Assault.  This is Austin’s 13th fatal traffic crash and the 15th traffic fatality of 2013, whereas, at this time in 2012, there only 8 traffic fatalities.

Reckless drivers can cause fatal accidents, and you deserve justice if your loved one was the victim of a wrongful death due to someone else’s carelessness.
