March Product Recalls

Products are recalled in the United States every week, but unfortunately, the news of recalls doesn’t always reach users in time. In an effort to keep our readers safe, we like to provide a monthly round up of the products that have been recalled recently. In March, we’ve seen household items, children’s toys, clothes, sporting equipment and more recalled.

Here’s a list of the items that have been recalled in the last month:

Children’s Items

Tween Brands Disco Lights sold exclusively at Justice — The lamp can overheat, posing a shock hazard to users.

West Music Basic Beat BB201 Standard Egg Shaker — Poses a small-parts choking hazard because the smallest part of the egg can come off.

PT Domusindo Perdana drop-side cribs — The drop sides can fall out of position, creating a space where the baby can become wedged or trapped, posing a fall, strangulation and suffocation hazard.

Toys R Us Imaginarium Activity Walker — The bolts attaching the walker’s wheels can detach, posing a choking hazard.

UNIQLO children’s pajamas — The pajamas failed to meet federal flammability standards.

Stuart Weitzman girls’ Cha Cha and Cha Cha 2 boots — The boots’ zippers pose a fall hazard.

IdeaVillage Bright Light Blankets — The blankets’ batteries can overheat, posing a burn hazard.

U.S. Divers Youth Snorkeling Masks and Sets — The lens on the mask can break under certain water pressures, posing a laceration hazard.

Soft Air USA Swiss Arms Air Rifle — The gun is still able to discharge while the safety is engaged.

Aqua Lung buoyancy compensator — The rubber handles on the weight pockets can detach, posing a drowning hazard.

Magura USA Bicycle Hydraulic Disc Brakes — The brakes can fail in low temperatures.

Regency Seating Oakmont Fabric Stackable Chairs — The legs can break off from the seat, posing a fall hazard.

Briggs and Stratton Ariens Compact Snow Blowers — The snow blower can allow gas to escape from the unit.

The Pampered Chef Garlic Slicers — The slicer’s blade can unexpectedly come loose during use, posing a laceration hazard.

Bluworld/Nu-Flame Vivo and Vivido wall-mounted fireplaces — The fuel cups can be ejected from the fireplace, posing a burn hazard.

Lighting Science Group LED Light Bulbs — The bulbs can overheat and pose a fire hazard.

Yuba Mundo Cargo Bike — A passenger’s foot can get caught in the rear wheel, posing a foot injury.

TC Electronic bass guitar amplifiers — Poses an electrical shock hazard to users because a nut inside can come loose and fall between the electrical coils.

White House | Black Market Versailles and Lourdes Shoes — The heels can become unstable and pose a fall hazard.
